New Product Release: ExpressYard CRBX File Converter
Flint, MI. – February 5, 2008 – ExpressYard announced today the release of a new product: ExpressYard CRBX File Converter (http://www.expressyard.com/crbxconvert). This new product allows users to download and convert AAR data exchange files into easy to read billing repair cards online. This was done in response to AAR Circular C-10899, which states that as of January 1, 2009, shops are required to no longer provide detailed repair information to car owners. Owners that cannot utilize the information from the Railinc data exchange must pay a fee to the shops to get copies of their billing repair cards.
“Not all car owners have systems to read and audit 500-byte data exchange files. We’re just trying to provide a cheap and easy solution for companies to get their data exchange information and download it in a format they’ll be able to read. ” said Justin Gillam of ExpressYard. “and for the time being, we’re going to allow people to use this product for free.”
