Appalachiana Railcar Services to deploy ExpressYard software across repair operations
Flint, MI. November 29, 2007 ExpressYard announced today that Appalachian Railcar Services, Inc. (ARS) has selected the ExpressYard repair billing and operations management system for their expanding network of repair shops. Under the agreement, ExpressYard wireless handheld hardware and web based application will be rolled out across all ARS repair facilities in the Eastern United States.
"ExpressYard will allow ARS to manage their entire repair operation from one single web interface." said Justin Gillam of ExpressYard. "...this includes the ability to manage repair bills, inventory, payroll, mandatory reporting of repair events to Railinc and so much more."
"We needed a system that can scale with our growing operations and ExpressYard was the logical choice," said Jay Phillips of Appalachian Railcar. "The time savings we expect to see from ExpressYard alone will more than pay for itself."
