Ohio Central Railroad System Selects ExpressYard for Managing Daily Operations of Railcar Maintenance 
Flint, MI., April 16, 2007 - ExpressYard announced today that Ohio Central Railroad System has successfully implemented the ExpressYard software for managing the daily operations of their railcar repair maintenance facilities.
s entire repair process allowing them to focus even more efforts on running an outstanding freight car repair operation.
Ohio Central Railroad has also implemented wireless handhelds for freight car inspection. The handhelds enabled crews to enter accurate information from the field as it is completed using streamlined forms. All data is validated against AAR Interchange Rules and the UMLER database right on the handheld before it is submitted. This process has proved extremely effective as it eliminates errors before they occur.
Using the ExpressYard system with the handhelds will allow us to better manage information in one centralized location, which should reduce errors and omissions and decrease IT overhead, said Stephen Benson, Manager of Customer Service, Information Technology & Cars.
Included in this agreement are the following 10 railroads for which ExpressYard will be handling the repairs: Ohio Central Railroad, Inc., Ohio Southern Railroad, Inc., The Columbus and Ohio River Rail Road Company, Mahoning Valley Railway Company, Ohio and Pennsylvania Railroad Corporation, Warren and Trumbull Railroad Company, Youngstown and Austintown Railroad Inc., The Youngstown Belt Railroad Company, The Pittsburgh and Ohio Central Railroad and Aliquippa and Ohio River Railroad (AOR).
