ExpressYard CRBX File Converter^TM is an AAR data exchange file to billing repair card converter. Car owners can upload a data exchange file in AAR 500-byte format, and the CRBX File Converter will provide you with a link to download a PDF copy of the billing repair cards for the cars contained in the file.

Why Do You Need This?As of January 1^st, 2009, the Association of American Railroads has changed the AAR rules to not require billing repair cards to be included with car repair billing invoices. You will still receive paper or PDF invoice cover pages, but you will not receive the repair summary pages or the BRCs showing you the work that was done. What does this mean to you as a car manager?

1. If you want the detailed BRC data for invoices you receive, you must start downloading the invoice data from the Railinc Data Exchange system! If you don't, you will not know what repair work you are paying for.
2. You will need a way to read the data exchange files. These files are not human-readable and will look like gibberish to most of us. You will need a system that can import this information and present you with something that is usable by you.
